Internet Safety

At Thoresby we take E safety very seriously. All computers have a ‘Safe Search’ facility to ensure that children do not have access to inappropriate material. Safeguarding themselves when using electronic devices (the internet, mobile phones etc) is taught along with other age-related aspects of safety.
We recommend that social-networking sites such as facebook are restricted or monitored. Children should be over the age of 13 to use Facebook. It is possible to restrict such sites on your home broadband connection. Your internet service provider can provide assistance.
